At Amudipes Residential and Day Treatment Facilities, we let the county program to determine if this service is appropriate to prevent institutionalization. We can provide this program to our client’s own home or in other residential or community settings not subject to licensing regulations.
Included in the habilitation services are:
- Participation in church activities
- Learning to cook safely
- Learning to use public transportation independently
- Acquire, retain, and improve self-help
- Enhance socialization and adaptive skills
Recreation is not included in the service, and a camp day or overnight can only be provided under respite/family aid. Also, entrance fees to events are not covered. In a case where a client has a contiguous condition, a written consent with regional approval is required.
